It's the last day of the festival. Well, it's not even a festival day. It's a day when everybody is packing their things and trying to get back home.
It was a second night in a row with just couple hours for sleep, so it's needless to say that we were slow and very sleepy. We started to think about breakfast only at 11am.
Because i didn't have a lot of things with me i managed to pack my stuff even before the breakfast, so the rest of the time i wss watching countless and pretty useless attempts of other people to pack their things. At 2pm i realized that this process will last for at least 4 more hours, so i asked everyone to make a picture of us and headed to my bike.
I decided to go to Poznań because it's on my way to Bydgoszcz and i've never been there yet (with exception of one errant from tram station to the airport and back).
30km from Poznań i've trapped into some weather anomaly. Temperature dropped from +34 to +19 in just few minutes. Raindrops were almost as peanuts and branches were falling on the road from the trees.
I rode maybe 1km in such weather and then i saw a gas station. But even 1km was enough to make all my clothes completely wet (remember i started my ride at +34 so i didn't wear moto jeans and i was only in a t-shirt underneath my jacket). I was the last one who managed to get there. Eight bikes were already standing there. We occupied two tank places under the roof and i'm very thankful to the personel for understanding. They were very polite and friendly and didn't ask us to move our bikes.
Luckly, the rain stopped after maybe 20 mins and we were able to continue our ride.
I was it Poznań at 4pm and found pretty nice hostel. When i was in McD at the middle of the road, looking for a place to stay, i've been told that they have available double room for 59zl (20$), but when i finally get there, all double rooms were occupied. But there was a 6 person dorm that was completely free. And it cost only 29zł (10$). It appeared to be pretty cozy place with nice and clean beds. After couple nights in a tent, with ocasional shower from the bottle, this room was just fantastic. Not that living in tent is bad, but normal shower is always better :)
I had some extra time in the evening so i decided to go and take a look at the center (it appeared that my hostel is located just on the next street to the main one). I found nice restaurant with an awesome pancakes with fresh fruits and later i found a good place with stable internet connection, so i spend my evening doing work that i missed to do on friday.
I went to sleep at 11pm and slept as a child until 9.
